Accommodation

Serai Room / Serai Sea View Room / Serai Terrace Room (33 sqm) - located in the three-storey Serai wing, overlooks the majestic Hajar Mountains / directly upon the shimmering waters of the Gulf of Oman / with views across the courtyard & gardens. Serai rooms accommodate up to two adults and one child up to the age of 6. They are equipped with a queen-sized bed and built-in sofa bench. The child can be accommodated on the sofa bench (no rollaway beds are permitted). The open plan bathroom features an open wardrobe, a washbasin, separate toilet and walk-in rain shower.

Deluxe Room (39 sqm) - housed in the one- and two-storey Chedi Wing and surrounded by enchanted water gardens. Rooms boast either the views of the ponds or the Hajar Mountains. All rooms are equipped with a king-size bed and a seating area and can accommodate up to two adults and 1 child up to the age of 2. The child is accommodated in a baby cot (no rollaway beds are permitted). The bathroom features two open wardrobes, two washbasins, a separate toilet and bidet as well as a walk-in rain shower.

Deluxe Club Room - The layout and facilities of the Deluxe Club rooms are identical to the Deluxe rooms. Deluxe Club guests enjoy daily afternoon tea + evening cocktails and canapés at The Club Lounge in addition to complimentary 15 pieces of laundry per day (excluding dry cleaning), complimentary minibar (entire selection), daily newspaper and complimentary return airport transfers.

Deluxe Club Terrace Room - The layout and facilities of the Deluxe Club Terrace rooms are identical to the Deluxe Club rooms. Deluxe Club Terrace rooms boast a furnished balcony or terrace of 10 square meters with views across the water gardens or courtyards. Deluxe Club Terrace guests enjoy daily afternoon tea + evening cocktails and canapés at The Club Lounge in addition to complimentary 15 pieces of laundry per day (excluding dry cleaning), complimentary minibar (entire selection), daily newspaper and complimentary return airport transfers.

Chedi Club Suite (67 sqm) - provide luxurious accommodation set within a two-storey or single-storey building. Chedi Club Suite boasts views of the Hajar Mountains, tranquil ponds, or shimmering pools. The single-storey suites break away from the flat roof building concept with its dome-shaped ceiling. Each suite consists of a large bedroom with a king-sized bed, a separate living room and private balcony or terrace. The stylish windows of the lounge allow guests to enjoy the views of the tranquil ponds or the manicured gardens. Each Chedi Club Suite accommodates up to two adults and a maximum of two children below the age of 16 years. The children are accommodated on the existing sofa in the lounge of the suite. The bathroom features a terrazzo sunken bathtub, an impressive walk in rain shower with a hand-held shower attachment. A separate toilet and bidet, two washbasins and two closets with drawer space complete the open plan bathroom. Suites are inclusive of return airport transfers, complimentary minibar (entire selection), 15 pieces of laundry per day (excluding dry cleaning), daily newspaper and access to The Club Lounge. At The Club Lounge, guests can enjoy daily afternoon tea + evening cocktails and canapés as well as complimentary Wi-Fi service. The Club Lounge is not available for children below the age of 6 years. Children between the ages of 6 and 13 years must be accompanied by an adult.

The Lobby Lounge
Regulars and overseas visitors gravitate to The Lobby Lounge daily for its distinctly intimate lounge vibe. Here you can relax with today’s newspaper and current international magazines, accompanied by drinks and snacks on your well-padded perch on European furniture amidst Arabic décor. The Long Pool Cabana
The Long Pool Cabana allows you to fuel with classic yet modern Japanese and Asian cuisine after a serious swim in our 103-metre Long Pool, the longest in the Middle East. From the Cabana’s comfortable setting, gaze upon The Long Pool’s shimmering water and out to the Gulf of Oman while dining on exquisitely cut Japanese sushi and sashimi. Alternatively, dip in the iconic pool for a delightfully refreshing cool down.

The Serai Pool Cabana
Under the Omani sun, we look further East for culinary inspiration, served by the Serai Pool with its dramatic dark tiled floor and white sun shades. As contemporary music floats in the sultry air, dine on authentic Asian noodle dishes and fiery fare while your eyes take in the blue spectrum of the sea to the sky.

The Spa
The Spa at The Chedi Muscat is dedicated to pampering the body and mind, restoring spiritual balance and harmony and revitalising all senses. The Spa embraces eastern philosophy with Asian oriental rituals, and also offers an extensive variety of beauty rituals based on the holistic principles of aromatherapy, Ayurveda and herbalism. The Spa offers 8 fully self-contained spa suites and a relaxation lounge overlooking the Gulf of Oman.

The Health Club and The Tennis Courts
The 700-square-metre Health Club, adjacent to The Long Pool is stocked with 30 pieces of top-range Technogym equipment from the Visio Web line and free weights, Power Plates, a Kinesis wall and a Pilates corner. High- and low-impact group exercise classes as well as personal training sessions are available to further ensure that fitness goals are achieved. A dedicated lady only sauna and steam room as well as a sauna and steam room that is exclusively reserved for the gentlemen, complete the extensive offering of facilities at The Health Club at The Chedi Muscat. Two floodlit tennis courts are available for all guests to use at no charge. Tennis rackets and balls are available at the gym at no charge. A tennis coach is also at hand in case guests wish to further improve their techniques; his services can be booked through the concierge and charged directly to the room.
